Thread: Advertisements/Donations

You will notice a few changes with the Forum. Mainly the Advertisements on the website. These advertisements are necessary to help negate a portion of the costs associated with running a discussion board such as this. $15 will upgrade your membership to Premium for a full year.

I have some great ideas in mind for this forum in the future, however I need the buy in of all members and I can't foot the entire bill myself. Thank you for putting up with the ads or for upgrading your membership.

Now what are the benefits of becoming a premium member?

another idea would to make some T-shirts/hats or other merchandise with INHSBB.com logos on them, if it was a good looking design im sure people would buy them

Aside from the obvious benefit, that you would be donating to the future and stability of this website. You will also receive.

  [li]The ability to post events to the Calendar[/li]
  [li]Green username. Your username will standout as a Premium Member[/li]

The truth is, these sort of websites cost money and time to maintain. Although I am not poor, I also am not unrealistic. I see this board gaining more and more popularity each day. With that means more and more strain on the server. Eventually, this website will need to be moved from its current VPS and be on its own dedicated server. With that comes about a $200-$300 per month investment. Also, I plan on switching platforms. A platform that will integrate a website (with articles), blog (each member will receive their own personal blog that will tie into the websites main blog), and forum (this forum will be exported to the new platform).

Although I know it is my responsibility to maintain this website and its updates, I am offering the members of this forum the opportunity to donate to the future of this website. It is in no way mandatory or expected by any member. All donations will be reported to the forum through monthly posts, and all expenses will be shown as well.

This is also a great idea. I plan to implement an online store in the new release (the new platform) of INHSBB.com

Sounds good ill b on the look out for INHSBB gear, oh and thanks for postibg all the sectional furums and match ups, i know that had to take forever! Greatly appreciated

I got in a groove and was able to knock it out in 2 hours. hope everyone enjoys it.
