The Fort Wayne TinCaps are a Class A minor league baseball team, affiliated with the San Diego Padres, they play in the Midwest League. The TinCaps formally known as the Wizards, were est. in 1993. The Midwest League consist of 16 teams, split into 8 team divisions. East & West, the TinCaps play in the East division along with the Southbend SilverHawks.
The TinCaps won the Midwest League 2009 championship by sweeping the Burlington Bees, 3-0.
Parkview Field home of the TinCaps, was opened in 2009. It was also the host to the 2010 Midwest League All-Star Game.
