Not really understanding the Legion rule here on having to finish the game. They follow the American League rule on the DH they might as well follow the big leagues rule on official games. The Richmond coach has thrown in the towel and put in all of his subs and it doesn't make sense to drive back up there for four outs.

Richmond had 10-3 lead in the third inning and the coaching staff's reluctance to take any of the Richmond High School players out of the game really bit them in the butt. Starting pitcher allowed 11 walks before they pulled him with Richmond leading 10-8. One Richmond player made 6 errors on the day and never came out. Richmond High School coaching staff coaching this team and absolutely will not take any of their kids out of a game. This definitely cost them a chance at winning this regional.

Chiefs' season ends at hands of Madison

    http://www.thestarpress.com/article/...nds-of-Madison

MUNCIE — The mere notion that the Muncie Post 19 Chiefs would send the tying run to the plate in the ninth sounded preposterous as late as the seventh inning Sunday at McCulloch Park.
