Summer Travel Teams

Tryout Date: August 14th 10:00-12:00pm @ Clifty Park Diamond 21/Rain-Columbus North High School


The Indiana Redbirds are an 18U and 16U summer travel team based out of Columbus, IN. This team will be comprised of 16-18yr old team and a 14-16yr old team mostly from South-Central Region of Indiana. Our goal for the teams is to provide as much exposure to our players as possible along with continuing to develop each player’s individual skills. We are looking for those players who are interested in playing baseball beyond high school and also players with strong character and the intrinsic motivation to get better. The players will be performing in front of many scouts and we intend to use the team as a springboard into the college baseball recruiting process. We will be playing a solid schedule of tournaments, against the best competition in the Midwest. The schedule in the summer starts the second weekend in June and runs through each weekend until the end of July. Here is an example of a schedule from this past summer. The schedule below will obviously change for next season.

As of right now it is looking to be around $800 per player for the summer, and this would include receiving a hat, 2 jersey tops and a pair of baseball pants. The addition of sponsors will lower the cost to the players. We are in the process of signing up sponsors at this time.
